The Fayette County Historical Society is having a Civil War Encampment at the Contentment Complex on Rt. 60 (Midland Trail), Ansted, WV, (one mile east of Hawks Nest State Park & Lodge) on Saturday August 27th form 10a.m. - 6p.m. and on Sunday August 28th from 10a.m. - 4p.m. A donation admits one to all three buildings in the Complex: the home of Col. Imboden, the Museum and the one-room school house plus the opportunity to experience "living history" by talking to the re-enactors. A donation of $10.00 or more also entitles you to one copy of the "Hatfields and McCoys The Feud" by Shirley Donnelly as long as supplies last.
Thanks again for all your help and support.
